The International Pharmaceutical Industry Forum and Exhibition IPhEB & CPhI Russia—a premier event within the Russian pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors—will take place in Moscow on March 28–30, 2017. Co-locating the IPhEB forum with the CPhI exhibition establishes a unique platform to foster open dialogue among business leaders and life sciences experts.

 The IPhEB & CPhI Russia 2017 forum primarily serves as a venue for life sciences professionals monitoring global and domestic pharmaceutical market trends. The event offers a platform to analyze legislative initiatives, address emerging industry patterns, and drive corporate growth through strategic networking. To facilitate the latter, the Business Matchmaking Service (BMS) will enable attendees and exhibitors to cultivate collaboration, identify new business partners, and conduct face-to-face meetings with senior executives of leading pharmaceutical manufacturers, institutional investors, government officials, and market experts.

The inaugural International Forum for Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology (IPhEB) took place in Saint Petersburg in 2011. In 2013, the launch of the joint IPhEB & CPhI Russia project with UBM marked the first time Russia hosted this international forum alongside the world-renowned IPhEB pharmaceutical exhibition. Relocating the event to the capital in 2015 drove an increase in professional attendance, significantly expanding opportunities to secure strategic business partners. Today, the IPhEB & CPhI Russia forum attracts industry specialists from over 50 countries worldwide.

The 2017 forum program features over sixty presentations by domestic and international market experts — including government officials, manufacturers, distributors, and partners of major pharmaceutical and legal practices, notably Roman Shabrov, Managing Partner of BRACE Law Firm. Leading industry experts, specialists, and government representatives will participate in panel sessions and roundtables addressing critical regulatory and legal issues, such as:

  1. Navigating the complexities, opportunities, and operational risks of compulsory licensing;
  2. Analyzing modern product portfolio solutions and global trends in pharmaceutical packaging;
  3. Assessing pharmaceutical market dynamics within the GMP certification framework;
  4. Implementing new regulatory requirements for the storage and transportation of medicines;
  5. Evaluating initial outcomes and future prospects of pharmaceutical track-and-trace labeling;
  6. Reviewing best practices for enhancing employee motivation, engagement, and corporate loyalty.

The international forum and exhibition, focusing on pharmaceutical ingredients, manufacturing, and the distribution of medicinal products, will be held in Pavilion 75, Hall A, VDNH (VVC), Moscow.

Federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow support this event.
