A round table was held on the topic: Legal problems of the procurement of medicines to ensure state and municipal needs

On July 4, 2014, BRACE Law Firm, in partnership with the Center for Regulatory Environment Studies of Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Faculty of Law, hosted a roundtable discussion addressing "Legal Challenges in State and Municipal Procurement of Medicines."

The keynote speakers included:

• Mark Tsutsiev (Byudzhet Journal), who presented on "Interchangeability in the Procurement of Medicines."

• Roman Shabrov (BRACE Law Firm), who presented on "Methods for Selecting Suppliers in Pharmaceutical Procurement: Implementation Challenges."

The presentations were followed by a panel discussion on the legal complexities surrounding state and municipal procurement within the life sciences sector. Representatives from pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, government authorities, expert consulting organizations, and the media actively participated in the session.
