Roman Shabrov, Partner at BRACE Law Firm, participated in an open meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF) Committee on Procurement System Development. Held in cooperation with the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the electronic trading platform CJSC TEK-Torg, the meeting took place on December 12 in the assembly hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

The event focused on introducing critical amendments to Federal Law No. 44-FZ and Federal Law No. 223-FZ. During the session, key stakeholders analyzed the upcoming legislative modifications to both procurement frameworks. The drafting committees have submitted these bills to the State Duma of the Russian Federation in preparation for their second reading in December 2017.

Representatives from the relevant committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, specialized departments of the Executive Office of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the Federal Treasury, the banking sector, major corporations, and the broader expert and business communities attended the meeting.
