Roman Shabrov, Partner at BRACE Law Firm, will participate in an expanded roundtable discussion addressing the regulatory challenges of public procurement. The event will take place on October 13, 2017, at the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
The event will bring together Mikhail Vyshegorodtsev, the Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights in Moscow, senior leadership from the Moscow Office of the Federal Antitrust Service, and representatives of the federal and regional business communities, including member organizations of the CCI of Russia, the Moscow CCI, the CCI of Russia Committee on Procurement System Development, and other public bodies of the Chamber.
Participants will discuss current legislative and regulatory challenges in public procurement, unlawful practices detrimental to buyers' interests and their corresponding remedies, the imposition of penalties, the monitoring of delivery timelines, and critical aspects of antitrust enforcement.
The meeting aims to thoroughly highlight business challenges within the public procurement sector and draft a resolution outlining potential solutions. This resolution will complement the formal Report of the Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights in Moscow.
